The Moody Church

It is another nominal church resting on many man made doctrines plus the Mosaic Law plus such as revivalism. Worse is their addition of unbiblical movements such as the so called "reformation" in which they honor a man who hated and wrote a book condemning Jews. I have attended off and on many times and never found any teaching on the New Covenant. Thery still preach on believers being under a curse, when the Bible makes it abundantly clear that Christ became a curse for us to set us free. You would think they did God a favor in their accepting salvation. There is a lack of humility and they are puffed up with pride. They pay no heed to God's warning neither to add to nor take away from the gospel of Jesus Christ, but have added many man-made doctrines. The building is nice, but God does not dwell in temples made by man, but in His people. The most ridiculous thing is that they think since Jesus is now in heaven, He left men to run His church, when Jesus is God The Son in His omniscience omnipresence omnipotence indwells His people and is the Head of the church and in control of His church. Frankly this church is a lovely dressed box, but the box is empty inside.

I'm sad to read all the negative reviews by visiting one's 😔 I've heard awesome sermons on the radio from this church. However, without Love....... Sounds like the congregations lacks hospitality to strangers. So though I haven't had a personal encounter, at the physical church, I still very much enjoy the sermons through power point ministry on the air. I will be praying for this congregation! Agape'💗
